Obituary of Hellmut Hager

Hellmut Hager, Evan Pugh Professor at Pennsylvania State University and a renowned expert on Baroque and Rococo architecture (particularly Carlo Fontana), passed away on 10 November.  For his obituary, click here.

Restoration of Gothic Folly at Wimpole Hall

A year-long project to restore the eighteenth-century Gothic folly by Sanderson Miller at Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire (UK) is nearing completion.  A full report on the process of restoration, from stone replacement to the trimming of scrub, is available here.
