Rooms by Vanbrugh Discovered under Blenheim Palace’s Grand Bridge

As dredging has occurred in an effort to save the Grand Bridge at Blenheim Palace, a sequence of early eighteenth-century rooms from Sir John Vanbrugh’s design have been discovered.  For more details, click here.

Sixtus V’s Sancta Sanctorum Complex To Re-open in 2019

After two decades of restoration, the Sancta Sanctorum complex commissioned by Pope Sixtus V in the late sixteenth century will reopen at the end of 2019; in the meantime, the complex is entirely closed.  For more details, click here.
